October

Earlier in October the weather was still nice, one morning when Andrea went to Preschool I took Sasha for a walk and to the park. All the bushes were so pretty ....love all the colors in the fall.

Halloween season!

I've had planned these costumes for some time. I wanted to be frugal this year and I wanted to make them.
To make this costumes I bought:
blue fabric(for the skirt and the short) $ 4 two yards
Red fabric (for the cape and the shirt) $4 two yards
Tan color fabric (for wonder woman shirt) $4 a yard
Gold fabric ( for wonder woman belt and headband) $3 a yard
1 package of paper to print and iron on clothes $5 ( for the stars on the short, and all the logos)
Two girls boots, I got them at a thrift store for $2 each
1 gold robe  $1
1 can of red spray $4
1 can of yellow spray $ 4
1 belt i got for a $1
1 long  sleeve black shirt $1
1 blue shirt $3
1 bottle of tan color to color fabric $2
Things I had: white shirt, thread, legging, gold beading,  red paint, black leggins, my  old boots, nefi's suit,glasses and black hard felt and white paint, plain headband, Velcro, 
I spent about $45 dollars for all 4 costumes. I think I did pretty good.
They took me about two weeks to make them. Started painting the boots and belt, cutting the fabric, sewing, making the mask and the headband, printing and ironing the logos, attaching the gold beating and the cape. It was all worth it!
